About The Market Periodical Events
The Market Periodical Events is the crypto-events desk of The Market Periodical — a markets-native publication. We curate the conferences, summits, hackathons and AMAs worth an audience’s time, and pair them with the on-chain context that moves markets. Every listing is editor-reviewed before it goes live.
How we source events
Listings come from two places, both quality-gated:
- Organiser submissions — anyone can list an event; submissions enter a review queue rather than publishing automatically.
- Automated ingestion — we pull from public sources (event calendars and schema.org event data) and on-chain catalyst feeds, then deduplicate and enrich each entry.
How we review
Before anything is published, our editors check it against a consistent bar:
- Real organisation, working website and a genuine, dated event
- Accurate venue, date, timezone and ticket links
- No misleading claims, fake giveaways or “guaranteed returns” — these are filtered out automatically and rejected on review
- Clear labelling where data is illustrative (for example, demo catalyst entries) until a verified live source is connected
Organisers can go further and apply to become a verified organiser — a trust badge shown on their profile and events.
Accuracy & corrections
Spotted a wrong date, a duplicate or a scam? Every event page has a “Report this event” link that reaches our desk. We review reports and correct or remove listings quickly.
Independence
Featured placement and sponsored coverage are always clearly labelled. Editorial selection of what we list and review is kept separate from paid promotion.
Market data
Prices, token trends and catalyst dates are indicative and for information only — never investment advice.
